I had a chance to preview a sweet documentary film called Dear Santa , which details how the U.S. postal service and a slew of other 'magical mail elves' handle all of the real letters to Santa that come through their system every year. It was a heartwarming film about the magic of Christmas and how people can come together to do something really special for children and families in need.  Read more »

Thanksgiving crafts for kids are all over Pinterest, but this is one of my favorites! It's so basic and simple, it can even be done as a classroom project with young students. It makes a cute decoration for Thanksgiving and constructing it can keep the little ones occupied on a rainy (or cold!) day.
